Brian Ballard
If you're at the racetrack looking for Brian Ballard this year, he'll be the one with the big red bulls-eye on his fire suit, courtesy of the extraordinary success the Mobil1/Matco Tools Chevy Cobalt driver has experienced over the last four race seasons. In 2007, the Sloatsburg, N.Y. resident captured his fourth straight NDRA Series championship (2004-05 in Turbo 4, and 2006-07 in Turbo Street) and his first NHRA Quick 16 crown (2007). You can be assured that the CSI/Ecotec-powered Chevy Cobalt will once again be an on-track monster in 2008 as Ballard looks for a fifth consecutive NOPI crown.
