09SSTurbo: so there's no rush to go order it or anything since those numbers aren't out yet? or can we still get it installed and get the numbers later
GM HPVO: Not sure what you mean by the numbers not being out? You can purchase the kit and have it installed. The emission sticker is in the process of being updated. If you are in a state that requires the sticker it will be 3 to 4 weeks before the updated emissions sticker is available. If you have purchased a kit and require the updated sticker for your vehicle, save your receipt along with proof of purchase of the upgrade and a new sticker can be mailed to you or your dealer.
Cossor: I called my Chevy dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about... awesome.
GM HPVO: Have them look up part number 19212670 in their system. Then they will know what you are talking about
Kilpatrickracing: Awesome news! Now can we get information on Stage 2 how long is a Cold air intake or short ram gonna take? Don't mean to bug but ive been asking for info on stage 2 for months. Are they still designing it? Or is it scrap'ed? What would be a time range for the intake April?
GM HPVO: Sorry but any information on a Stage 2 or a Cold Air Intake cannot be released since it is a future product. Nothing has been officially announced about a stage 2 but don't let any thought of a stage 2 stop you from getting your stage 1!
buellfooll: I already have my hard parts and will do my own install. Now I have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon for the cal install. But I have a question. The instruction sheet I have does not specify Cobalt. Only Solstice, Sky and HHR. The color coding for the new connectors does not specify COBALT although the wire colors match the HHR. The other two cars use different colors which is confusing. I am assumming, I know, I know, we will use the same coding as the HHR. Gray, orange/black and light green. Right? Thanks.
GM HPVO: Right on the money! If you download the new instructions that we're posted yesterday here you will see that we made some changes to show that both the Cobalt and HHR harness share the same colors. Good luck with the install!
